Our Client is looking for an Experienced Office Administrator with Legal Administration Experience in the Property Business
Minimum experience:
- Matric with relevant tertiary experience
- Strong Excel Skills
- Must have National Homes Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) knowledge
Core Functions(not Limited to):
SALES ADMINISTRATION
AGREEMENTS OF SALE
Control and Oversee the amendments to Agreements of Sale and Bonds
Control the timely and accurate updating of Purchase Price Receivable Controls and Sales Controls (Bookkeeping / Accounts function)
Control the capture of payments received on Purchase Price Receivable Controls and the preparation and filing of Deposit Slips (Debtors control)
Control the timely receipt from Purchasers of all supporting documentation required by Attorneys and Banks (strong administration/PA)
Control the timely issue of Transfer instructions and Bond applications to Attorneys and Banks (Conveyancing experience)
Control the timely receipt of documentation by Banks and Attorneys from Purchasers
Control the timely approval of Bonds by Banks (Strong Accounting/Banking exp)
Control the collection of occupational levies and interest (for unregistered units) Debtors control)
Assist Attorneys with all pre-registration queries and documentation (Admin)
Control the timely formation of trusts, close corporations and companies by Purchasers
HANDOVERS
- Prepare and issue Handover Letters, Handover Certificates and Handover Folders
- Control the timely Notification of Handover to Purchasers, sales staff, managing agents and rental agents
- Control the timely receipt of occupational levies, property rates and interest payable on (levies, rates, interest experience)
REGISTRATIONS
- Control the timely registration of Transfers and Bonds (Conveyancing liaison)
- Control the preparation and auditing of Purchasers’ Final Statements
- Control the receipt of banking details regarding Purchasers’ Final Statements (where money is due to Purchaser) (Creditors)
NATIONAL HOME BUILDERS REGISTRATION COUNCIL
Control the NHBRC enrolment of new projects
Control the issue of NHBRC enrolment certificates for new units
Control the annual renewal of NHBRC registration (NHBRC knowledge and experience with them)
OFFICE ADMINISTRATION
Manage office administration and assist Directors with ad hoc tasks
GENERAL
Control the timely receipt of all Bond Commissions payable by Banks
Control the timely issue of Letters of Demand and Litigation Instruction Letters
